Experience

Emily has over 8 years of experience working with children, adolescents, families, adults and couples in the mental health field. She has clinical experience in both outpatient and school based mental health therapy. Emily has specific clinical experience and training in the treatment of anxiety, depression, emotional regulation and trauma. She primarily uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and is trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). She enjoys forming therapeutic relationships with her clients while using a strength-based approach.
