Where are you at currently?? Really, it doesn’t matter. I will meet you there and can help you figure out where to go next in life, despite your past and present. I have been working in community mental health with individuals and couples, and inpatient mental health with individuals and groups. emphasizing a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach.
I utilize Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness. I also operate from a lens of positive psychology and faith. Current interests I am pursuing are dream interpretation and Internal Family Systems.
I am deeply passionate about helping individuals heal from childhood trauma, domestic violence, and involvement in the criminal justice system. I approach counseling through a trauma informed lens, focusing not on “what’s wrong with you,” but rather “what happened to you.” I believe our environments shape who we are, and together, we can explore those influences and begin the healing process.
Much of my insight comes from a lifetime of lived experiences and a personal journey of self-discovery. I strive to create a safe, judgment-free space where clients of all ages and life stages feel empowered to explore their thoughts and emotions. Whether you're seeking clarity, healing, or personal growth, I’m here to meet you where you are. My goal is to help you discover your authentic self, establish healthy boundaries, and move toward living your best life.
