Growing Together: Parenting Through Developmental Differences

What is it?

A processing and support group for parents of children with developmental differences who have multiple system involvement, including but not limited to those diagnosed on the autism spectrum, with ADHD, as medically fragile, etc.

You’re not alone.

This isn't a group about teaching parents how to be "better" parents. It's about helping parents feel less alone, more understood, and better equipped to navigate a complicated journey. The group focuses on the parent because too often the parent experience can become lost behind the child's needs.

Examples of Topics We Will Cover:
-Building Safety, Connection, and Understanding
-Grief, Acceptance, and Adjustment
-Stress Burnout and Self-Compassion
-Understanding Behavior and Regulation

We want to create a space where parents can say:
‍
“I love my child deeply, and this is still hard.”
‍
“I'm grateful for the progress we've made, and I still grieve what I thought our journey would look like.”

Eight sessions with one overarching goal: helping parents feel less alone and more equipped.
