I’m inspired by the notion that everyone has many strengths that can help them through challenging moments in their life. In my therapy, I believe that being open and vulnerable may be scary or risky for some clients. When discussing vulnerable thoughts, we must feel safe with the person we are talking to. As a therapist, I am honored to be that “safe space” on your journey. For all people, I strive to be compassionate, understanding, and trusting. My goal in therapy is to help you identify self-worth, resilience, and above all, hope. I enjoy working with adolescents and older adults with various issues including depression, identity issues, LGBTQ+ related topics, self-worth, grief, and adjustment issues. In my work, I use solution-focused and cognitive behavior approaches to help empower clients. I also enjoy bringing humor into the counseling space, as I believe laughter is the best medicine.
