EXPERIENCE
Melissa received her Master’s degree in Psychology and Education from the University of South Dakota. She worked as a School Counselor in the Des Moines area for six years before transitioning to clinical therapy.

Her specialties include working with teens and adults on Anxiety, Depression, Family Conflict, Identity, Grief and Loss, Career and School Concerns and Trauma/PTSD.
MY APPROACH
Melissa utilizes a client centered approach, CBT, TF-CBT, Motivational Interviewing and is EMDR trained. In her free time, Melissa enjoys spending time with her two children, friends, and family. She loves cooking, gardening, sand volleyball, live music, hiking and traveling.
