I have been practicing in the mental health field since 2004 with experience in private practice, schools, residential treatment facilities and community agencies.
Including but not limited to Expressive Art Therapy, EMDR, and concerns related to Trauma/Abuse, PTSD, Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Personal Growth, Phase of Life, Grief, Addiction/Recovery, Depression, Women's Issues, Co-Dependency, Stress Management, Pre and Post Postpartum Anxiety and Depression.
I consider it a great privilege to partner with my clients in the difficult and rewarding work of therapy. I am an active and client-centered therapist offering a range of therapeutic approaches to meet your needs including: talk therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), expressive arts therapy and sand tray therapy. I strive to create a therapeutic space that is supportive and safe in order to foster growth and change.
I am knowledgeable about the biological, emotional, relational and spiritual aspects of mental health and have both respect and compassion for the complexity of these factors in your life. As a therapist, I am interested in gaining an understanding of your unique needs and resources, and collaborating with you to create a plan that supports your goals. The therapeutic models I work from include: EMDR, Expressive Therapy, Solution-Focused, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral, Person Centered and Narrative.
