I have had the opportunity and privilege of practicing as mental health therapist since 2018. As a mental health therapist, I have had the opportunity to work with individuals, couples, and families. My experience includes practicing in an outpatient mental health clinic providing services to children, adolescents, adults and families with a wide range of presenting concerns.

Trauma, Complex Trauma, Mood and Anxiety Disorders, Life Transition Issues, Grief and Loss, Stress Management, Phase of Life Transitions, Couples and Relationship Distress, Family Relationships, Existential Crises, Self-Esteem, Dissociative Identity Disorder

I am committed to being a fellow traveler and meeting individuals and families where they are at in their journey. I believe in the value of connection and relationship with each and every individual I serve. My philosophy is that the beginning of the healing process starts with feeling heard and understood. I am a therapist who is dedicated to understanding each person’s story and the meanings which they attach to those stories. I believe everyone has the capacity to grow, heal, change, and transform their lives. As a therapist, I aim to assist with people with embracing and becoming the hero of their own story.

My approach is client centered in nature with an emphasis on humanistic potential and is guided by existential philosophy. My perspective as a therapist is that everyone has potential and holds the key to their potential while always living and experiencing life in relationship with meaning and purpose. I approach therapy with the idea that potential is right there waiting to be experienced and by assisting individuals gaining insight and understanding on their paths.

My orientations of therapy are eclectic as are the interventions in which I approach therapy. My background includes: Client Centered Therapy, Humanistic-Existential Therapy, Family Systems, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Therapy
