I have 5 years of experience in the mental health and social services field including in schools, residential treatment facilities, the criminal justice system, and department of health and human services.
Including but not limited to: Anxiety, Depression, Grief, Life Transitions, Eating Disorders, Work-life Balance, Substance Abuse, Self-esteem, Trauma
My goal is to create a safe, welcoming and empowering environment for each of my clients. Taking the step to invest in yourself is a decision that one should be proud of as it is not always an easy journey. No matter what brings you into my office, I strive to meet you where you are at, and determine steps to get you where you want to be. I believe the therapeutic journey should be comforting and supportive while discovering, learning and growing the unique strengths that each individual possesses.
My approach is client-focused, individualized, and designed to meet the needs of the client. I aim to walk alongside you in your journey to improve your overall well-being by identifying resources, healthy-coping strategies, and tools to empower self-growth and overcoming obstacles.
The therapeutic approaches I am most influenced by are: Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, Emotionally Focused, Motivational Interviewing, Family Systems, Interpersonal, Relational, Solution Focused Brief, and Trauma focused.
